Cosmic

Frank Cottrell Boyce has excelled with this heart warming story. I know it isn’t a new book but it is for me. The main character Liam is an unusually tall boy with stubble. He takes on the chance of a visit to a theme park with his friend. But he takes on the role of dad and his friend as his daughter. Laugh and enjoy this great book.

girl online on tour

A brilliant sequel to the equally great first book. I had already read the first two chapters of this book thanks to the handy sneak peek in the paperback girl online. So many great ideas blended in to one big book. A great read but only for you older lot about 11+.

Little Stars

My most recently read book. This is the fifth book in the Hetty Feather series by Jacqueline Wilson. A beautiful read with many twists and turns and corners to hide in. Follow Hetty/Emerald/Sapphire in an adventure to the music hall. Where she creates a novelty act and meets past friends. I hope you enjoy this book.

girl online

One of my new favourite books. Full of delightful twists and turns that will keep you reading. Zoe sugg (a.k.a Zoella) is a great writer with an even better imagination. A must read for all my friends. She includes many life like experiences. The new paperback has two sneak peek chapters from her newest book: girl online on tour.

The ideal canal side reads

Last week I went on a boating holiday. And since I am legally classed as a child I’m not allowed to steer. So all day I would either, depending on the weather, sit inside or for a short period of time sit outside on the helm. I had brought five new books with me which sounds a little optimistic, but even though I had brought such a lot of books I still managed to finish every single one. Since I took the time when reading; I wasn’t physically able to put them down and when I went to bed it was I’ll just finish this chapter or some other excuse.

These are the books I brought with me:

Wonder – R. J. Palacio

The Marsh Road Mysteries – Diamonds and Daggers – Elen Caldecott

Coraline – Neil Gaiman

The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place – Julie Berry

The Secret Countess – Eva Ibbotson
